This is the finished portrait quilt, I had to re-work the nose as I wasn't happy with the original. Friends who have seen it recognised who it was straight away.
Your portrait is wonderful, and how fulfilling that your friends recognize whose portrait it is. I have been wanting to make a portrait, but have still been afraid that it won't look like the person. I keep telling myself that I can't know until I try, but I have too many UFOs to complete before I can start another project.
