This is the quilt I'm working on for my SIL b'day next month, in fact it's only a couple of weeks away now. I'll have to search through the stash to see if I have any of the dark navy left for the binding. It should be there somewhere, just where, is the question?????
It has been a cold and wet week, freezing temperatures and even a little snow.
It has also been my lqs 20th birthday and to celebrate they had 20% off everything in the shop. Of course I had to pay one or two visits. The bolt of fabric is for backings, no excuse now not to finish some of the tops inhabiting the sewing room.
I didn't buy very much, a little fabric, some wadding and basting spray. I did help my friend to enhance her stash though, lol.

That is a beautiful blue quilt. I just love all the blue fabrics in it. I really like the three-d effect of the attic windows, but have been steering clear of mitered corners.
I just looked at the closeup. I love all the blue work you did on it as well.
I cheated, I used half square triangles for the corners :)
Love tthis
