After the recent rain we thought there might be a few mushrooms about, so off we went for a walk over the paddocks. I'm surprised at how quickly the grass has come on since the cattle have been taken off.
We struck it lucky and came home with a plastic supermarket bag full, guess what we had for lunch???
I took the camera along so I could take some pics of the countryside.

I hate mushrooms but that green country makes me want to cry and here I live in suburban Melbourne where we should not be having all the results of this lack of planning...
However we did get at least an hour or rain tonight.
I am even seeing azaelas dying..and have never seen my garden so sad...lawns I can cope with.......this has affected it all and we seem to miss all the rain that does come. Oh well this is only earth.......Eternity will not lack rain....
